Job Summary
The Market Development Representative is responsible for driving new business and markets within a defined territory through qualified meeting creation and reports directly to the Vice President of Sales. This is a phone based role calling into our prospective markets and identifying companies that fit our profile and have a need to increase their opportunity base and revenues. Working in conjunction with the regional sales team, the Market Development Representative is crucial in driving new business opportunities into the customer acquisition cycle.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Qualify inbound opportunities
  • Outbound targeting of new opportunities
  • High call activity (50-100 calls per day)
  • Set up qualified meetings for the regional sales team
  • Manage leads, information, and activities in a CRM system
  • Prepare and send information to prospective customers
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual meeting targets
  • Call on senior-level executive contacts and sell ReachForce value proposition
Skills and qualifications required
  • 1-2 years of phone based sales experience
  • Success in telesales prospecting and developing new business opportunties
  • Experience working in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to create rapport over the phone
  • Organized and self-disciplined
  • Preference will be given to candidates that have a college degree and those who have worked in a marketing capacity

Compensation
